Csaba Kőrösi at the 14th Award Ceremony of the Virtual Power Plant Program (VEP)

“More and more people recognise the importance of energy sufficiency, and everybody benefits from that”, – said Csaba Kőrösi, the Strategic Director of the Blue Planet Foundation, during his speech at the 14th Award Ceremony of VEP, hosted by the Virtual Power Plant Program Parliament. More than a hundred companies, municipalities, schools, and experts were recognised.

The VEP prevention programme aims to rationalise the energy needs of the domestic corporate, institutional, municipal and residential sectors by collecting and spreading best practices in energy sufficiency and renewables, generating projects and supporting their implementation. Through this, the VEP facilitates replacing and phasing out fossil-based energy production systems.
