Meeting at the invitation of the Special Waste Streams Association

Upon the invitation of the Special Waste Streams Association, on 25.9.2024 (Wednesday), at the Chamber of Commerce, our Twinning Project held a presentation of the ongoing preparatory work for the establishment of the PBB: drafting the relevant legislation and supporting documents for the establishment and operation of this independent body. Presenters from the Project side were our RTA Krisztina Wegner and short-term legal expert Eniko Kretz. The meeting was also attended by newly established PROs responsible for management of the newly regulated waste streams. These meetings will continue and so will our exchange with our partners – the PROs, whose input we will take into account as we jointly shape the new look and rules of operation of this important stakeholder body.
